Two excavators deployed by South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. to dredge Taman Alfa connecting (PHB) channel, Petukangan Utara Urban Village, Pesanggrahan, Friday (3/17).
It is dredged to 1.5 meters depth, 800 meters long, and 6 meters wide
Pesanggrahan Sub-district Head, Agus Irwanto said this is one of the ways to minimize flood due to overflowed PHB water.
"It is dredged to 1.5 meters depth, 800 meters long, and 6 meters wide," he said.
Residents Request to Normalize Taruna PHB ChannelHe added the dredged mud from PHB channel was transported to Rawa Minyak, Pasar Minggu by using Water Resources Sub-dept. truck.
"I wish with this dredging, Petukangan area that prone to flood can be resolved. At least water level could decrease," he closed.
